Professional Biography
Paul joined Lex Pacifica as an Associate after Articling for a Civil, Estate, and Family litigation practice in Vancouver, where he gained experience appearing before the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Paul received his Law Degree from the University of Southampton and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law from Cardiff University, specializing in Maritime, Insurance and Commercial Law. While completing his LL.M., Paul volunteered at the Cardiff Civil and Family Justice Centre, assisting self-represented litigants with case preparation, document drafting and court procedures.
During law school, Paul served as the campus representative for LexisNexis. He also completed a summer internship with the Institute of Maritime Law and with an international manufacturing company.
Prior to law school, Paul received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Management from the University of Manitoba. During his undergraduate studies, Paul worked as a Boating Safety Specialist for Transport Canada and as an Insurance Advisor for a national insurance company. Prior to Articling, Paul worked at the head office of a Vancouver-based international franchisor as a Compliance Specialist and Contracts Paralegal. Paul also worked as a legal assistant for a criminal law practice in Vancouver.
In his free time, Paul enjoys reading, snowboarding, weight training, and discovering great restaurants that are off the beaten path.
